I noticed that last year, I took a yoga class at Rebel Soul Yoga on Sunday! It’s good to start the week with centering, prayer, and healing the body. The instructor discussed the importance of smiling, laughing, and knowing that your true self is filled with joy and kindness. Parish and I rode our bikes to the yoga studio. Later that day, we went to the beach with the Lambs. The afternoon was filled with regrouping and naps. We went to have taco night at the Lamb’s condo and played games. Talk about laughter and fun! WOW! The Lamb’s condo was near a little pond. I took Spencer, Jr. outside by the pond on an adventure. By the way, he calls Parish’s walking bag an “adventure bag.” So precious. We were blessed to see a blue heron having dinner and exploring the water. We talked about what she might be eating and what kind of bird it was, and we enjoyed watching her. I found the cutest little wooden block with a blue heron picture at the artisan fair. I gave that to Spencer as a gift with a little note on the back of our special time. After she left, we enjoyed throwing sticks into the water, and he would make up stories of their adventures floating away together. Another night, we ventured over to the other side of the pond. We found a sign that said, “Beware of Alligators!” What?!

On June 30, 2024, Huxley had his first day at the beach!

We laughed at our game night, especially when Spencer, Jr. played charades and pretended to be a leprechaun. Gigi had taught him this a few weeks earlier. He remembered, and so did I!
