Family Vacation Day 7 “Future”

It was another great day on the beach! We went to the Keziah Street lot and beach access. Today was very crowded, but we all found parking even amidst a main water line eruption! We got lunch at Ruby’s and enjoyed on the beach together. I loved seeing Parish swim the ocean like a little kid! He can ride the waves! At night, Parish and I went to see Michael Franti in Wilmington! WHAT A CONCERT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The venue was top-notch (Greenfield Lake). The family went to Fishy Fishy for dinner with many stories to tell! For example, fist in the eye, “Hey there lady,” blowout diaper, and finally settling into a dinner. All memories.

Why future? I shared previously in a post about so many folks talking about future plans and dreaming big! Even in a shop, I heard a song about “It is your turn” and “Take a chance”, along with Franti and his opening and emphasizing taking risks and doing what you love! Franti’s life story is truly inspirational. He shares it in video form before he comes on and throughout the concert. Look it up. It’s worth it.

What joy to sing along with my husband! We returned home around 11:00 P.M. and crashed at midnight.

What will our future hold? I know who holds my future, and I’m listening to Him and dreaming. I have this friend who is my encourager. She was looking up houses with me and dreaming for me. I love you, Sandy!
