We are learning to include our e-bike adventures with scheduled outings. I had the privilege and joy of attending Fredericksburg Public Schools Wellness Resource Fair, and from there, we traveled 5 minutes to the Virginia Central Railway Trail.

This parking lot is a little confusing. If you end up in the parking lot of the apartments, turn around and go towards the Irish Pub, and you will see lots designated for the trail. The trail is about 2 miles one way and has many walking trails, along with a park, restrooms, and a playground halfway through. You could park your bike and take a trail to extend your time. Remember your bike lock.

You could take side roads to explore Fredericksburg and its history, so take the time to plan a longer ride if you would like.
We kept it simple and did the complete trail, returning to our car for an item we needed. We then rode our bikes a few blocks to The Alpine Chef. We sat outside on the patio, which had plenty of room for our bikes. We highly recommend this restaurant! It is part of the train station and has authentic German food!

We decided to head home due to family obligations; however, if you get your hands on a Travel Guide within the restaurant, you can see calendar events and a great map! I also provided the link for you to pre-plan. There are so many great things to do in this area!
