Good morning, beautiful soul!
There is a funny expression, “Life be liffing.” How is your life “lifing” right now? Romans 8:35, 37-39 lists all the things that can’t separate us from His love, including the dimensions of time, the spiritual hierarchy, the dimensions of our reality, and spatial extremes. One particular boundary expressed is simply life.
Life – the sequence of physical and mental experiences that make up the existence of an individual. (Merriam-Webster)
In any given day or year, you have a sequence of experiences that potentially can interrupt or influence your belief of how much God loves you.
In verse 37, Paul lets us know we are more than conquerors. More than? Just to be a conqueror would be pretty awesome. Yet, I realize that conquering is exhausting. Victory is not surviving our experiences or scraping by through some type of endurance. It means that the challenges and distractions become the backdrop where resilience, growth, and deeper meaning are forged.
Think of your life. Take a moment to pause and paint a picture of your backdrop in which God has been faithful, present, and His love was evident.
During a camping trip in June, I took a walk with my husband. As I was writing this, I remembered a beautiful tree on a small cliff that serves as a natural example of thoughtful expressions in my post. We often admire magnificent oak trees and redwoods, but can you also appreciate the beauty of this tree by the water? It adapts beautifully to its environment. What do you see?

I pray that the smallest details of your life, down to the specific events that occur, bring you to a spiritual space of God’s immense love for you. You are more than a conqueror, surviving battles. You are His child, filled with His Spirit.
Dear Heavenly Father,
I come before You today with a heart full of gratitude. I pray that in every detail of my life, from the smallest moments to the significant events, I may experience Your immense love. Help me to see Your presence in all that I encounter.
Lord, I am reminded that I am more than a conqueror through You. Strengthen my spirit to overcome the challenges I face, and give me the courage to embrace the battles that come my way. I am Your child, filled with Your Spirit, and I trust in Your guidance.
May Your love surround me and inspire me to reflect it in my interactions with others. Thank You for being my source of strength and comfort.
In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
