This past Sunday Anna, I read the story of David and Goliath to my 4-year-old pre-school class. I love the picture you posted of how you arm yourself with God’s word.  I like to add the David and Goliath story of how David did not use physical armor but he knew God would protect him. That is how I tackle every day.  I know God protects me from Satan through prayer. I told my kids it was one of my favorite stories, and God brought it full circle through you. Not only must we protect ourselves with prayer, but we must also open ourselves up to hear God.

He speaks to us in so many ways everyday but we choose to live busy lives and not hear him. I pray that people will reflect on their day during prayers and try to find all the times that God spoke to them today through something they read, something someone said or maybe an action by family or a stranger. He speaks to us everyday but we must open our minds and listen to what he is saying. He is always with us protecting us but many forget, because they don’t take that moment to listen.

When you take that moment every day, you will feel his love and how much he loves you. I will close the way we closed in Sunday school this past week. Jesus Loves me! I know you want to sing the song now and it is a wonderful child’s song to sing everyday for there is no greater love.
