I wish I could remember the worship song on K-Love this morning that was talking about Jesus walking on the water in the midst of a storm.  Through the artist’s words the Spirit shared a truth with my heart.  A miracle happens IN the midst of the storm.  A storm, a conflict, a challenge, an insurmountable odd, a diagnosis, a hurt…

These are the very backdrops of the miracle…

It just seemed all day songs and scripture pointed to this truth.  If you are in the midst of a storm, miracles will happen.  Miracles do not exist without the storm.

I suppose one could be minding her own business and before her a very miracle occurs without a need, but a need or a storm almost always produces the miracle!

A friend of mine shared one thing after another today that has caused significant financial, emotional, and spiritual turmoil.  She’s a strong gal–she can handle it, but our prayer together was for Jesus to show her the miracle in the midst of the storm.
