He is always with you…

“I know the Lord is always with me.  I will not be shaken, for He is right beside me.” Psalm 16:8

After reading Psalm 112 with my 9-year-old that proclaimed “I will not fear bad news but trust in the Lord!” this verse solidifies even more that God is always with us.

He is with you in times of joy and sorrow.

He is with you in the hospital bed and at the graveside of a loved one.

He is with you in your addictions and your sorrow.

He is with you when you wave goodbye to your soldier.

He is with you in the middle of the night when worry won’t let go.

He is with you when all is going well and you celebrate a milestone or job promotion.

He is with you when you are looked over or fired or let go.

He is with you when your marriage is struggling and you feel hopeless.

He is with you when you are nursing your sweet newborn in the early hours of the morning.

He is with you when you struggle to parent a teenager.

He is with you when a friend offends you.

He is with you when you walk the valley of indifference and apathy.

He is with you when you rejoice.

He is there when the prenatal ultrasound doesn’t find a heartbeat.

He is there when the doctor says cancer.

He is there when you did the very thing you told God you would never do again.

He is there when someone you admire rejects you.

He is there when memories haunt you.

He is there when you’ve messed up and you feel ashamed.

He is there when reconciliation is not possible.

He is there when your babies grow up and no longer need you to rock them.

He is there when our heart is filled with love for Him and His faithfulness.

He is there when we are faced with the impossible.

He is with you………

He is right beside you….

Never will He leave your side or cast you from His presence.  He adores you.

I Peter 2:9 says you are chosen by God and you are His possession.  He has called you out of darkness into His wonderful light.

I pray you feel God’s presence in a real way today.  He really is right beside you. Allow His love to penetrate your heart and soul.
