By faith–GOD!

By faith Noah, being warned by God about things not yet seen, in reverence prepared an ark for the salvation of his household.  Hebrews 11:7

Has God called you to step out in faith on behalf of your family? It might seem crazy or impossible and perhaps you don’t have the full story yet.  All you know is God is calling you, like Noah, to build, prepare, engage, and be courageous!  You might find yourself the object of ridicule from others but you know God has called you to act, and you are not going to hold back.    You push forward and wait each day for instructions from the Lord.  You do this in reverence, not fear, anxiety, or shame.

Lord,may the salvation of my household be a priority!

Lord, may it start first with the knowledge and reverence of YOUR Word!

The Bible says that Your Word is living and active IN me.  “Let the Word of Christ dwell in us richly!” (Col. 3:16)  God’s Word is like a fire (Jeremiah 23:29) and His Spirit is a healing oil!  Put the two together and ignite and fan the flame of Jesus in every aspect of your life–not just church on Sunday, or when we need Him most.  Daily!  Fan our flame Jesus with Your Word!  Lay Your hands on us!

2 Timothy 1:6-8

For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands. For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline. So do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord!

Place His Word on your coffee table, kitchen table, by your computer, in your car, and at your desk at work.  Feast on His Word!

Jeremiah 15:16

When your words came, I ate them;
they were my joy and my heart’s delight,
for I bear your name,
Lord God Almighty.
