For whatever God says to us is full of living power: it is sharper than the sharpest dagger, cutting swift and deep into our innermost thoughts and desires with all their parts, exposing us for what we really are.  Hebrews 4:12

Do you believe that

• God’s Word is FULL of living power?
• Sharp and healing?
• Cutting swift and deep into our inner most thoughts?

What do you run to for healing and reassurance?  Often we don’t believe that Jesus can handle our problems or stress. We run to the phone, eating, shopping, complaining, alcohol, Facebook, Twitter–but Jesus is a second thought.  We can’t believe that He could handle the heart-ache and brokenness.  God does not reject our brokenness –He loves it.

“You will not reject a broken and repentant heart, O God.”  Psalm 51:17b

Do you truly believe that God can satisfy all your longings, needs, and empty places?  Do you truly believe that God will fill you with so much of Him that it satisfies you?  Acknowledge your unbelief and seek Him with all your heart, soul, and mind.

God does not fill you “to do” but “to be” and in the being–completely satisfied in Him–we overflow naturally in our marriage, family, and work.  God’s mission for you to completely rely on Him is not manipulation.  He does not fill you and satisfy you so that you can work, work, work.  He is your perfect Father who wants you to know His passionate love for you.  From this love we naturally overflow.  It’s with ease and peace, like a jug filled to capacity pouring out; like a rushing river that is fresh and active–ALIVE!

Forget “works” and “doing” and concentrate more on being. From this being filled, miracles in your soul and family will transpire.
