Mr. Pratt shared a secret to great fried pickles and it worked! First you use Vlasic Pickles strips. The other secret is using McCormick Seafood Breader.
I’m not usually brand specific, but for the first time, they turned out awesome!
The last secret is making sure to use paper towels to get most of the juice out of the pickle. I did this and put them in a container in the refrigerator for a few hours until we returned from an event. I’m not sure if that made a difference but they were yummy! We just followed the directions on the back of the McCormick box but added some dill seasoning to the batter! I also purchased cucumber ranch dressing to dip them in.
