Jeremiah 29:13
The above verse was my K-Love (radio station) verse this morning. I smiled because it’s what we talked about yesterday! Not only are we being more responsible with God’s Word in our personal walk with daily meditation, but we are also committed to encourage others. So as I was typing that verse, I realized it’s very close to the verse we all quote and love, but we never go past that verse to the meat of how to make that happen:
11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back from captivity.[b] I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile.”
Did you hear that in your soul? He is saying to us – Call on me, pray to me, seek me with your whole heart (not this half way stuff), AND THEN I WILL BRING YOU BACK FROM CAPTIVITY……FROM WHICH I CARRIED YOU INTO EXILE.
Remember my daddy’s response of the Israelites being in captivity but then there comes a day in which HE CARRIES US OUT OF CAPTIVITY?!!!!!! Okay – I got glory bumps because God is working in our lives. It’s like God is saying, “Okay, talk about this, share this, and then tomorrow I will confirm it over and over in your lives!”

Oh I love you! I’m sitting here racing through this post because I just had to tell you, share with you. My hair is wet, I’m late for an event…..but this could not go undone! I’m like the woman at the well – FRESH ENCOUNTER WITH JESUS! (which we learned was our goal to be unoffended in life – Blessed are those who are unoffend says Jesus).
WOMAN RUNNING THROUGH VILLAGE SHOUTING HIS NAME! MORE ON THE 6:00 NEWS, BUT JUST REMEMBER YOU HEARD IT FIRST ON 12 AT 5:00! LOL!
We may be exiled to this world, and God carried us here, tenderly in His arms. He tells us to stay here for a while and worship Him, be His ambassador to a hurting world, but there will come a day in which I rescue you – carry you all the way home. GLORY! If I don’t see you here, I’ll see you there for eternity!!!!!! That is our HOPE! Don’t you love the fact that no matter where we go in life – God carries us there. Go back and take notice of that in the verses. Oh Jesus, THANK YOU, for holding me and carrying me. Reminds me of that picture of Him holding the lamb. I’ll find that and post it with this.
