Daniel 12:3

Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever.

Dear Jesus,

We pray for wisdom beyond books, classrooms, education.  Lord we want to be wise in YOU! We want YOUR glory to shine so bright in us, that we are not seen.  Lord, we have these human bodies and minds and we need the supernatural healing and power that only comes from knowing You.  Jesus may every encounter that comes into my path and life not sway me to believe anything less about you, or less about myself.  I am not less than.  YOU are greater than! Jesus humans can be mean, hurtful, and reject us.  You never leave us.  Lord, help us to not internalize rejection or hurt but to remember how great You are, and that You have a plan for us even in the darkest moment.  Jesus if we work as if we are working for you and not man then it all makes sense.  That problem, hurt, difficult mountain are handled by You.  I can trust You to help guide me and offer mercy beyond measure.  Lord I pray for those who come against us – our enemies.  Did you lead them in our direction to show Your glory, or to remind us how powerful You are? Daniel sat in a lion’s den waiting to be devoured.  Jesus help us to feel and to personalize Your Word. Help us to imagine ourselves in the den of disaster, death and Your deliverance! Many came to know You that day when you shut the mouths of the lions and Daniel was rescued.  Jesus, through the years I’ve come to realize that you work more in adversity than days of bliss. Jesus I pray you will help in that moment, that lion’s den situation, to see You and embrace you so that others will come to know You.  Knowing You brings eternal peace and joy.

I have been struggling recently with a lot of changes in my job and returning to school.  My struggle has been in interpersonal relationships.  Nothing major has happened, its been more of my internal thoughts about who I am.  I have a vivid dream life and dreams are something that come and go for me, and at times can be terrifying, but there have been a few times in which I knew the dream was from God.  One night this week God gave me a sweet dream.  A woman who was beautiful not in features, but her spirit came to me.  She stood over me and had the most precious smile.  She looked at me and said something like, “Anna why do you fret over people who hurt, and cause pain? Humility, Anna, I see you striving for humility in your life and that is good.”  I remember in my dream that I did not say a word, I only began to process with her on a soul level to stop feeling less than, and give the glory to God.  I don’t have to prove myself, compete, fight, wrestle, fret over if you like me, or seek constant approval.  She was the most beautiful angel in Spirit, and I had no recognition of her.  Thank you Jesus for this dream of encouragement.

God help us to shine like the stars with YOUR glory!  Help us God to not define ourselves by other’s opinions of what we said, how we acted, our weaknesses.

Keep us humbled at the cross and lifted in Your love.
