This year brought joy, togetherness, and miracles! My parents visited folks at the river and my nephew and his wife were visiting with their new baby—the 4th generation of Thomas Franklin Lloyd!
The Lambs continue to live with us while their home is being worked on due to water damage. Their help around the house, and the joy of my grand-daughter added to the festivities in such a beautiful way.
We circled up as a family for sharing out what we are thankful for, and reflected back on our gratitude tree from last year. After prayer, we began the feast!
Here are all the wonderful recipes!
Maple-Brined Turkey with Bacon Gravy
Turkey Breast with Cranberry-Pecan Stuffing
Oyster Stuffing
Apple and Pumpkin Pie
Stringed Beans (Grandma Lorrie’s Beans are GREAT! A tradition.)
Rolls
Buffalo Chicken Dip with crackers

CRAFTS WE ENJOYED
Parish taught the children how to make rose shaped butter!
We wrote out our gratitude list on a placemat.
Each family made a “memory bucket” for New Year’s Eve 2021.
Grandma Lorrie said the most encouraging comment to her son (my husband). She said, “You and Anna have a great marriage.” She complimented our togetherness in the kitchen and making Thanksgiving a special time.
