A Couple’s Challenge: Write a song together

Parish and I have a couple’s advent calendar. Today, we were challenged to write a Christmas song. We talked about options of silly versus serious, and then I got an idea to listen to our daily devotion on my Pray as you go app. Our challenge was to use the verse highlighted for today. Today’s passage was Isaiah 40! We spent the morning writing, composing, speaking of the meaning, and recording. We are still working on our rhythm, and we want to add alto–Victoria and Valentina! Oh! I would love a cello with this song. Just like marriage–a work in progress.

  2. This is beautiful!!! The snow is falling this morning so I vision this mountain with beautiful, white, pure snow with Jesus waiting for us on top.
