One of Many

Streams of loneliness

Walking in frenzied hurry

Float above it all

In and out of controlling

Sitting still and you are there

I’m still and listening

Rationalized thoughts mixed up

I’ve been here before

Majesty poured out to me

Song birds, buds, bunnies, and hope

I seek not a trope

Overused ending to life

The seeker is found

A fairy tale ending

Satisfied in the knowing

We rise and face it

A hero’s path after all

We learn to accept

I’m one of many seeking

Seeking to rest in His peace
