Hi Anna, I tried to comment on this post when you first wrote but my phone wouldn’t cooperate!! My sister was born in the Philippines so I love the thought of praying for someone there who is reading your blog! We lived on the Naval Base for two years! I literally walked through the jungle to get to my kindergarten and first grade classes!!! Through Voice of the the Martyrs I know that much of the southern Philippine Islands are populated with extreme Muslims and Christians are severely persecuted!! I don’t know where your Filipino reader lives but I am praying!!!

WOW! I did not know that!!!!!!!!! I totally can see you running through the jungle to get to school!!!!!!! Oh Melinda what joy to think on how God gave you that special time. Also, to know that Christians are severely persecuted makes me pray even more in a direction for safety and comfort.
