Come Away (Jesus Culture)

The Erik Brown band (youth praise band) was playing this song Sunday.  I was deeply moved by the combination of this song with the song Prayer of Revival (Trevor Walker/Clover Hill Worship).

Come Away  by Jesus Culture (WOW read these lines!  I hope you can listen to the above video!)

SHANNON! REMEMBER YOU SHARED THIS GROUP WITH ME IN AUGUST! 🙂

Come away with me, Come away with me

It’s never to late, it’s not too late, it’s not too late for you

I have a plan for you

I have a plan for you

IT’S GONNA BE WILD, IT’S GONNA BE GREAT, IT’S GONNA BE FULL OF ME

Open up your heart and let me in

Then……..Psalm 19 Revival Song

May the words of my mouth

And the thoughts (songs) of my heart

Be pleasing in your sight

Oh my rock the holder of my life

You are more desirable than silver or gold

I don’t wanna have the world but lose my soul

Don’t let my sin take control

I want to be blameless declared innocent

I just remember crying out to God with Joy during worship asking Him for a wild plan, a great plan, a plan FULL OF HIM!  In that moment I saw joyful visions in my prayer to the Him, the Spirit and I started to quietly laugh!  Thank you JESUS!

I remembered a childhood song:  “The Joy of the Lord is my Strength!”  I’ve been singing that song in my heart all week.  I called my mom and she laughed and said, “I’ve been singing that song today!”  How cool is that?!  No mention of it prior, just happened!  God’s way.

IMAGINE IT!  PRAY FOR IT!  ASK FOR IT!  SING IT!  Isn’t it amazing how God is connecting all the posts together?  Do you see it?

Glory!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yesterday before class at VCU, I was struggling with physical ailments and stress related to life in general – same stress that is familiar to all, and I wrote the blog about running away to Jesus.  This post was one I had written a few days ago, in which I’m adding these few sentences.  See the connection?  God provided a worship song to run to Him and to minister.  I didn’t really make the full connection until right now.

Let’s remember that HIS plans are wild, great , and full of HIM!  If we are anxious about a transition, a dream He has planted in our heart, or major life change, then Come away to Jesus.  He is carrying you through it all.
